Nacionale vitae activa (NVA), the Scottish arts charity, have launched Edinburgh International Festival 2012 with Speed of Light, a public art installation involving members of a "walking audience" carrying portable light sources up Arthur's Seat in the dark. The nighttime display created trails of light snaking their way up the distinctive landmark.
